Digital cameras are electronic devices capable of creating images in digital format.

Digital cameras use components called sensor to change light captured by the camera into electric signals.

These signals are not digital in nature and are converted to digital form by camera using a module called analog to digital converter.

The above mentioned digital signals are used by computer of the camera to create digital images.
