Operating system
Operating system of a computer is a software based platform
that all other software type
platforms need it to run.
Operating system of a computer does several and very important tasks including, but not limited to:
- Enabling softwares installed on a computer system to run.
- Starting up and shutting down of computers.
- Maintenance task,that means keeping a computer system healthy to enable it work properly and at an acceptable speed and efficiency.
- Enabling a computer system to interact with input devices and output devices properly.
